Feed the Hungry Soil Microbes: A Parent and Child Workshop

Bring your little ones along for an interactive storytelling session led by Cuifen Pui and Dorcas Tang, co-authors of the children’s book The Three Hungry Microbes. Families will get their hands into soil and compost, then head outdoors for a walk to discover how helpful microbes break down organic matter, how compost nourishes soil life and plants, and what clues tell us whether soil is healthy. Back indoors, everyone will make their own microbe-inspired paper craft to take home. Hosted by Food Citizen, this is a paid workshop, and your spot is confirmed once payment is received.
